Apple TV+ price rises to $14.99 per month in the US
Apple TV+ went up to $14.99 per month (annual: $119) on August 28, 2026 — the service's fourth price increase in four years. European prices, including €9.99 per month in the Netherlands, are unchanged for now.
Apple increased the price of Apple TV+ for US subscribers on Friday, August 28, 2026. The monthly price rises from $12.99 to $14.99, and the annual plan from $99 to $119. The new rates apply to new and existing subscribers; existing customers are notified roughly a month before the higher price is charged.
Fourth increase in four years
Apple TV+ launched at $4.99 in 2019 and has now gone up four times. The most recent previous hike, in August 2025, took the service from $9.99 to $12.99. The Apple One bundle — which includes Apple TV+, Apple Music and iCloud+ — also rose from $19.95 to $21.95 per month.
Europe unchanged — for now
Apple has not raised prices in Europe: Apple TV+ still costs €9.99 per month in the Netherlands and Germany. In the US, the new $14.99 price puts Apple TV+ close to Disney+ ($18.99 ad-free) and HBO Max ($18.49 ad-free).
