Amazon Prime Video: the best shows to stream in 2026
The Boys ended, Rings of Power is back, and Reacher is still punching. Prime Video has an outstanding 2026 line-up — here's what to queue up.
Amazon Prime Video had a landmark 2025 and is continuing that momentum into 2026. The platform's strategy of investing in prestige long-form content is clearly paying off.
The Rings of Power — Season 3 — The most expensive TV production ever made returns for its third season on November 11, 2026. The first teaser trailer arrived at San Diego Comic-Con in July 2026, showing Sauron fully emerging from the shadows as Middle-earth heads toward war. Simon Pegg joins the cast as the voice of the Balrog.
Reacher — Season 3 — Jack Reacher is back, and this time he's investigating a cold case in rural Montana that turns out to be anything but cold. Season 3 is bigger, brawnier, and more plot-driven than ever.
The Boys — One of Prime Video's biggest hits, the raw superhero satire continues to dominate the conversation. The spin-offs Vought Rising and The Boys: Mexico are in development at Amazon.
Cross — Based on James Patterson's Alex Cross novels, this thriller series starring Aldis Hodge has found a loyal audience and returns for its second season in mid-2026.
Secret Level — Season 2 — The acclaimed animated anthology series exploring the worlds of popular video games returns with even more acclaimed game universes and jaw-dropping animation.
Don't forget: Amazon Prime Video is included in your Prime membership. If you're not a member yet, the 30-day free trial is a no-brainer.
